Default Me/N Soloing Hell's Precipice?

(No I'm not crazy. )

I've been trying some builds to accomplish such a task. Burning Titans and Risen Ashen Hulks are no problem, but Hands and Fists simply decimate me.

Here's the build I've come up with so far:

Me/N

Signet of Midnight (E)
Spirit of Failure
Cry Of Frustration
(Power Spike) - may change this
(Plague Touch) - may change this
Vampiric Touch
Life Siphon
Energy Tap

The idea is simple - keep SoM and SoF on one target at all times (namely the Burning Titan at the start). Spam Vampiric Touch and Life Siphon to deal damage and to keep yourself healed, and use the other skills when the occasion arises.

As I've mentioned before, the problem is when a Risen dies and pops up a Hand and a Fist. How do I sustain blindness against two of them simultaneously? I've been trying Plague Touch (since SoM blinds the user as well), but that's a bit slow and clumsy. Epidemic hasn't worked too well either, it's difficult to get them adjacent to each other (and have time to cast) before I get chopped up.

I'm out of ideas, hopefully you guys can help out a fellow Mesmer.

I haven't figured a way. I seriously doubt it's even possible, especially against hands and fists.

You can't damage a burning (have to use life drain) and that takes a long, long time... and you won't be able to take down sparks :/

Gentlemen (and ladies), we need some ideas!

It may be possible...have to let my brain rest a bit, though.

Try using epidemic, doesn't that spread all conditions to all nearby enemies

Last time I used it, Epidemic only spread to Adjacent opponents.

Well, here's stalemate against a Hand, a Fist and a Risen:

Signet of Midnight (E)
Spirit of Failure
Vampiric Touch
Life Siphon
Cry of Frustration - useless
Ether Feast
Enfeebling Blood
Mantra of Flame

The warriors spam Healing Sig too much, CoF doesn't have a fast enough recharge to interrupt them. So that can be swapped out, any suggestions as to a skill which can defeat Healing Sig spam?

You could try to land a diversion on the healing signet. Even locking it for 15-20 seconds would be decent.

I thought that too. This gonna be a long fight, but we can find a build if we want to finish this mission while solo.

Signet of midnight+epidemic is easy to make them adjacant you know. Just fall back and they will be side to side.

I will try something and will come for updates.

If it works with aatxe, im pretty sure it would work here. Drop enfeebling blood and cry of frustration for epidemic and phantom pain (works against heal sig, at least with IW it does.)

Ok........ I think........ I got it, not sure thought.

I must try this at the same time (not tested)

Signet of Midnight(E)
Epidemic
Spirit of Failure (Im not sure if Titans do fire dmg in melee. If not, then its a try)
Ignorance
Mantra of Flame
Life Siphon
Vampiric Touch/Gaze
Empathy

Like I said, I haven't tried. It just a thinking. Im not really sure for Spirit of Failure. I thought for an interrupt against Spark Titan and Ashen like Power Spike.

Diversion! Duh! Thanks for making me feel stupid.
Ignorance is a bit too energy-intensive to be maintaining, Diversion more or less does the same thing cheaper.

Here's the first part soloed (Burning, Risen, Hands and Fists).

Now for those sparks...

In case if anybody's wondering how to actually do this:

(I've since replaced Enfeebling Blood with Plague Touch)

vs. Burning Titan + Risen Ashen Hulk
- Signet of Midnight on Burning Titan -> Spirit of Failure -> Vampiric Touch -> Life Siphon
- Renew SoM, Plague Touch on Risen, focus back on the Burning Titan
- Spam Vamp Touch, renew SoF and SoM as needed (and Plague Touch on Risen to gain more energy from its SoF)

vs. 2 Risens
- If you have above 50% health when the Risen spawns from the Burning, the Risen will immediately use Shadow Strike. Divert this if you can, it'll make things easier
- SoM and SoF on the newly-spawned Risen, Plague Touch on other Risen
- Life Siphon and Vamp Touch, be sure to Divert Shadow Strike to make things go faster. Remember that they'll only use Shadow Strike when you're above 50% health, so it's easy to time Diversion to catch it
- Maintain SoM and SoF on both Risens, and spam Vamp Touch until one is dead

vs. Risen + Hand + Fist
- Hard part. Use Mantra of Flame immediately and run in a straight line until SoM has recharged
- Immediately use SoM on one and Plague Touch the other, Ether Feast and Vamp Touch to get your health back up.
- Cast SoF and Life Siphon
- SoM and Plague Touch, Vamp Touch and Divert Healing Sig (there's a critical point in their HP bar when they'll use Healing Sig, you'll know where this is from experience)
- Spam Vamp Touch, maintain SoF, SoM and Life Siphon until they're dead.

Your going to fast. First we have to get past the imps/titans combo.

Unless you can fit a ninth skill slot in there, I don't see how you can take on the Sparks without an interrupt.

Hmm...

This build looks good... but I have been toying with an idea using Melandru's Resistance... +3 health regen and +1 enegery for each hex or condition on you... but it is an elite and only helps you live is you are hexed... and or conditioned. Putting points in WS though would yield a high troll ungent which could help (+9 health regen).

ah, well but that is not a necromancer.

Meh, I've pretty much given up on Sparks. I'm happy enough coming up with the only build that I know of which can clear the first group.
